Hello friends in this article is all about the food to be take during your pregnancy. Before starting with I would like to say there is no specific diet to be taken and there is no specific recommendation. It is important to have nutritious food throught your pregnancy.The nine months of pregnancy are divided into three trimesters, first second and third trimester each three months long.
Taking right and nutritious food is necessary for your baby's growth and also to ensure a healthy and successful pregnancy. The nutrition food that you take during pregnancy is not only for good health but also impacts baby's development, brain growth and resistant to diseases. Throught the pregnancy period it is important to have a balanced diet to ensure the wellness of the mother and the growing baby.
This food that I list here is about a diet pattern and experience that I followed during my pregnancy. The list included are
1. Dried fruits and nuts :
Take all available dry fruits and nuts daily like raisin,walnuts, almonds, apricot, dates.Soak raisin in water and consume that daily morning,fresh dates in the evening. If you are a working women then put all the nuts in one single box and carry that in your handbag and take it daily twice like whenever you remember or whenever you feel hungry.
2. Fresh vegetables:
Fresh vegetables like carrot,beetroot,bell peppers,cauliflower ,pumpkin green peas. Dark green leafy vegetables like spinachJust make sure you wash all the vegetables and fruits before you eat it.
3. Fruits:
Take all fresh fruits like banana , pomegranate, oranges,sweet lime,apple,grapes,cucumber,guava,custard apple. Also take fruits like avocado,kiwi.
Avoid ripe papaya and pineapple for the first four months of pregnancy. You can still consume it after four months. As far as possible take all fruits in the from of raw fruit itself,in case if you are taking it in the form of juice then do not add any sugar or ice to it
4. Curry leaves:
Curry leaves should be taken throught your pregnancy as it contains folic acid. You can take in the form of chutney. Do not discard it from your regular meals.
5. Milk:
Milk to be taken twice. Try mixing honey with milk instead of sugar.
6. Saffron:
Take a pinch of saffron strands ,mix it in milk and consume it now and then.
7. Ghee / Butter:
Take unsalted homemade butter and ghee in your diet since it believed to ensure easy delivery.
8. Honey:
Taking one tablespoon of honey in any form is extremely good.
9. Tender coconut & Butter milk:
Take tender coconut and butter milk whenever possible. They are extremely good.
10.Dates:
Take atleast fresh five dates mixed with gulkhand starting from your seventh month of pregnancy since it improves the hemoglobin level in your blood.
11. Water:
Last but not the least take lot of water to keep yourself hydrated.This will also help in free flow of urine.
