This article is about the food to avoid during pregnancy.During pregnancy it is important to have nutritious food throughout your pregnancy. There are a few which you can take in moderation and few to be completely avoided before starting with if you are looking for what food to be taken during pregnancy or for a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian food chart I've already posted a video you can find the videos in my Youtube channel.

- papaya
- pineapple
- any preparation with sesame and jaggery
You can take these foods after three or four months you can still consider discarding these food throughout the entire pregnancy after all we are going to ignore be food for nine or ten months and we don't want to take risk at this point of time.
What else you need to avoid through-out your pregnancy
- Most of the research says that that caffeine intake leads to miscarriage premature birth and low birth weight, it is better to take them in moderate limit yourself to two cups of coffee and gradually reduce it to one and you can stop it at one point of time. As far as possible try taking milk with nuts , have a masala milk, milk mixed with honey which is extremely good for you one for your baby.
- Avoid any soft drink like Coke Pepsi or even any packaged fruit drink since it has large amount of sugar in it . Always choose fresh juices, tender coconut ,lassie, butter milk and water for your thirst.
- Avoid raw or uncooked egg , egg preparations - mayonnaise, uncooked meat and uncooked seafood. They are all rich in protein however it is important to ensure they are cooked properly before you eat them.
- Alcohol should be completely avoided during and after pregnancy it does affect your baby's development.
- Heavy salted items like pickles packed potato fries. It is believed pregnant women crave for pickles it means you're craving for salt. Taking pickle in moderate is fine however when you add so much it increases your swelling. Have some homemade food instead.
- Avoid packed foods that are ready to eat since they are heavily processed and they are less in nutrition and that's not what you want while you're pregnant this would result an excess weight gain of you on your baby.
